If you could have dinner with 5 people (alive, not alive, fictional) who would they be?
My high school teacher William Coleman, Esperanza Spalding, Bobby McFerrin, my partner Kerry Burrow, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Where would it be?
It would be anywhere that is surrounded by a garden on an early-Fall evening.
And what would be a symbol of a very good night?
Definitely no shoes, lots of laughter, and a big group hug at the end of the night.
What's your go-to dinner party outfit?
I'm a jeans and button-up type of gal, and of course my dinner party outfit wouldn't be complete without food stains from my young kid's mouths and hands.
What's your go-to make-at-home cocktail?
My go-to cocktail at home is typically pretty simple: tequila, lots of lime, agave, and a pinch of salt.
